No let downs

I don't feel as though today I have any great revelations other than this: God does not let us down if we cling to him. There are so many dissappointments in this life, so many people that will not come through for us, so many situations that just do not work out. But if we cling to the one who has all the tiny minute little details of our life planned out, we can survive these things and allow them to be moments of teaching and growing closer to Him. It's these little humility lessons of life that continue to show me that it's all about His glory anyhow, and that it's time that I give credit where credit is due. I am so encouraged by the heart change that I feel is happening in me even just the past few days. I feel like I am David and God is showing me all the Goliath's in my life and gives me the power and the authority to be able to look at those things and say I may not come to you a sword or a spear (or with vast wealth or great wisdom or incredible courage!) but I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus and today you WILL BE DEFEATED!!!! Our pastor at church has been doing a series on this very message, and I have been so challenged and encouraged by it. Visit your Bible and read for yourself the story of David and Goliath.

I encourage you to pray and ask the Lord this question: what Giants exist in your life that He wants to help you overcome??
