I just woke up about 15 minutes ago from a brief catnap/break from packing. I feel under quite a bit of pressure today as tomorrow is Christmas Eve and the day is full, then Christmas day, then Sunday the day after Christmas we'll go to Life Church for our last service (sniff!) before we move and then off to Berryton, KS to spend time with my dad's side of the family. So that basically leaves today to get as much packing done as I can before this evening as tonight is our last CR here in town (although we have been given info about one where we will be moving to so that is awesome!).
Ugh, it's one thing to have it be busy just because it's Christmas and everything involved with that, but to add to it preparing to move, and having two little ones underfoot (well, I should say for the record that Hannah has been quite the helper), plus processing all the emotions I've been feeling.....I am EXHAUSTED. I wanted to post more photos for my moving photolog but I don't even have the energy to go get my SD card out of the camera! So I'll share that later, plus some fun pics of our night out just enjoying each other as a family at Bass Pro Shop where the girls got to decorate Christmas cookies and play games and just not worry about packing!!
I've been clinging to a couple of verses in Isaiah which I know that Father has given me just to remind me that HE is my strength right now, which I've shared below. So, until I get to post again, have a very Merry Christmas!!! I am so thankful that I get to walk out this life with the one who is the reason for the season.
Isaiah 40:29-31
"The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
